Upon entry to the site the first call for action is to fund the organisation itself. How does that make you feel about the organisation?

Reading further into what you are funding we see nature being translated as “having benefits” and to quantify the value of those benefits for decision-makers. This implies that decision makers are unaware that nature is of any benefit at all. How does that make you feel about Emmanuel’s analysis that to strategise to evolve REDD+ is not worth it as to strategise on a false premise is to legitimizing something inherently wrong?

 As we can see, you don’t have to scratch far to see that REDD+ has been accepted by the conservation sector of charity institutions. What other NGOs can you find that are supporting REDD+? How would you communicate with them about Emmanuel’s view of REDD+ and requests for accessibility (FPIC) and his warning that it is not a solution to climate change as it is not a process led by forest dwelling peoples who know conservation from a lived experience perspective? How could you change this institutions behaviour could directly benefit Emmanuel in a practical way that he has asked for support with? How could you change your own behaviour in your daily life to directly support Emmanuel to conserve the forests?
